PV market in Spain and Kingfeels solar mounting brackets exhibition

The Spanish photovoltaic market, which has been dormant for a long time, has risen again. According to renewable energy news website renewables energy world, the installed capacity of photovoltaic power generation in Spain has exceeded 4 GW so far this year, which is the first time it has returned to the GW market since 2008. Solarpoweurope, the European Photovoltaic Industry Association, believes that under the stimulation of huge market potential, Spain's photovoltaic industry will grow strongly in the next five years.

According to the data of UNEF, from 2015 to 2018, the new installed capacity of photovoltaic power generation solar mounting rails in Spain was 49 megawatts, 55 megawatts, 135 megawatts and 262 megawatts respectively, with small volume and slow growth. In the first 11 months of 2019, the figure climbed rapidly to 4 gigawatts, 14 times that of the whole year of 2018.

Renewable energy world believes that at present, the main driving force of Spanish photovoltaic market is PPA solar panel structure project. According to the statistics of UNEF, in 2018-2019, PPA project contributed the vast majority of new installed capacity of photovoltaic power generation in Spain.

It is understood that PPA project is known as long-term power purchase agreement, which means that the power producer and the Buyer negotiate and sign a fixed-term power purchase agreement before reaching cooperation. Since 2017, the first large-scale photovoltaic PPA project in Spain was signed by foresight group, a British enterprise, this solar mounting brackets type of project has flourished in Spain.
